Today marks the last day of what has been my regular lunchtime haunt for the last 16 weeks. Next week is my last week in Sheffield and sadly, the sandwich shop Charlies is closed all next week. So I went along this lunchtime for my last taste of Sheffield this lunchtime and I had a 'seafood' salad sandwich which consists of prawns and 'crab'. Although this is not really crab, this is crabsticks and they have not even been waved in the direction of a crab never mind actually being made out of one. I keep meaning to take it up with them. I keep meaning to point out that their advert for a 'Crab Sandwich' is actually a violation of the trade descriptions act. Still, what do you expect in Sheffield? So I had my last sarnie and can of coke. No idea what we'll do for lunch next week. Aside from Wednesday. My agent is coming to take us all out on Wednesday for lunch.
Little V2.0 was supposed to be going on first trip to the coast today with my mum and sister, but my mum has come down with a flu this morning. So I've decided that I'm going to take Mrs. R. and V2.0 to the coast on Sunday and we're going to have a picnic on the beach. Even if it's cold and raining.
